The GBOF team briefed the first version of the GBOF to leadership at Dyess AFB in late August 2000. After alloting the requested 6 weeks for including a GBOF field test within the Dyess AFB schedule of inspections and events, the team returned to Dyess for a de-brief. The field test was unsuccessful. The results of the attempt proved that the guidance and instructions needed detailed revision for any additional testing to be successful.

During the November to January timeframe, the team restructured the templates designed for implementing GBOF, re-wrote the instructions, and researched examples for demonstrating how to customize GBOF templates to fit your military installation. The templates are now being data engineered to be web-based. They will allow individual installation access, be password protected and coded for privacy within the installation, and will be customizable online.

The team proposes to return to Dyess AFB in March or April to re-administer a GBOF briefing for a final sample test before proceeding to any further testing or implementation of GBOF at other installations. The web-based product should be ready to allow "test" of one or two additional installations simultaneously with Dyess.
